More than half of web traffic today comes from mobile, and the number is growing all the time. Now it’s time to increase conversions on your mobile sites with extensive new customization options in your mobile headers and expandable menus. By adding buttons, social icons, store links and more to the most prominent area on your site, you can do just that!

With more than 20 new mobile header and expandable menu layouts to choose from, you can give your mobile sites an exciting, conversion-oriented facelift simply by changing the menu and/or header layout.

A world of new opportunities

Boost conversions by placing key icons and messages in your mobile header, so they stay visible regardless of where visitors go on the site. For example:

  • Increase social interactions by including social icons.
  • Add a Click to Call link so visitors can reach website owners.
  • Add a shopping cart icon so visitors can complete their purchases.
  • Add a Yelp icon so visitors can check restaurant reviews.

You can also improve your mobile design possibilities:

  • Define a distinct menu entrance - from the top, from the side, pushing the site or covering it.
  • Choose whether the menu icon appears on the left or right .
  • Customize the menu open/close icon color and background.
  • Alter the width/height of the menu.

Here’s how to get it

To get the new mobile header in any website, simply open the mobile header Context Menu, click Edit Design, and click Update header.

If you don’t see the Upgrade header message, go to Site Layout and choose either the first or second mobile layout.

Note: When you switch your site layout, an automatic backup is made. To access this backup, open the site Settings and click Backup Site.

In addition to updating your mobile header, your tablet and desktop headers have also been updated. See More Flexible Tablet Header and New Sidebar Layout for Desktop Sites for all the details.
