Faster & easier mega menu editing

To help keep you in your flow as you design a header with a mega menu, now can edit it as soon as the mega menu section previews on hover when you're within the Navigation widget. This will save you much time and effort drilling down the Navigation widget’s options, or looking for it in the layers panel.

Need more theme colors? Here you go

You can now add up to 20 colors to your site theme colors list. Whenever you set the last available color in the list, we’ll automatically add a new color slot for you, up to Color #20. Go ahead and design the way you w with extra speed and convenience.

More intuitive ways to connect widgets to data

We’ve improved the experience of connecting content library and other connected data to text widgets on your sites. This applies to both inline & text block data connections. Here’s a summary of the improvements:

  • Clear data source category titles for improved navigation - this will help you quickly navigate to and find the data field you’re looking to connect to any supported site widget or text block, whether it’s from the Content Library, a Collection, or more.
  • Edit the text after you connect it to data - a more intuitive flow making it easier to edit the text connected to data. Meaning you can connect a text to data first, and edit it right after, and these two actions are now separated instead of co-existing in the same dialog.
  • More Connect to Data options right in the Text widget - clicking the Connect to Data icon there will show a menu with different actions, including changing the data connection, editing the content and deleting the data connection altogether.

New Scroll to Bottom linking option

We’ve added a new 'scroll to bottom' linking option in the link picker when editing buttons and icon widgets in Editor 2.0. This lets site visitors scroll directly to the bottom of the footer.

This post is part of our Monthly Wrap Up series - a collection of small product and feature improvements we’ve released in the past month.

That's it for these Monthly Wrap Up updates. See you again next time :)
