Edit text faster with quick AI Content Assistant actions

We’ve added new quick edit suggestions right into the AI Content Assistant dialog box, to allow you to shorten, lengthen, and improve text better and faster.

To give an example, if your suggested text is longer than expected, you can easily ask the Assistant to cut it short right here at the click of a button, without needing to re-select the text and open Assistant's text menu all over again.

An added bonus: these actions are also available when generating SEO meta tags for individual fields (only title or description).

New! Change workspaces to easily work on all your accounts

We’ve added the option to quickly log in to other workspaces you might need to when working on multiple accounts.

Your Duda profile menu now includes the option to Change Workspace. Opting for this option will show you the available accounts, and clicking each of these will put you through the login to the other account.

More code customization power with your Dynamic Pages

We've added the ability to add inline binding to a page's head HTML. Until now you could connect a Dynamic Page's meta title and meta description to the site’s internal collection, to dynamically show metadata for each page item.

So what’s new? You can now add other metadata, and insert custom code to the Dynamic Page's head HTML. Another option that’s now possible is to connect Content Library fields to the <head> section of regular (non-Dynamic) site pages.

That's it for this month's Wrap Up. We hope you find these useful. Got an idea or a feature request? Stop by our Idea Board and post it.

When it comes to site performance, Duda’s got your back— we’re the #1 site-building platform with the best Core Web Vitals scores. This comes in handy especially now, with Google’s newest Core Web Vitals metric, Interaction To Next Paint (INP). INP measures the time it takes between a site visitor's action, like clicking a button or typing on the keyboard, and the visual feedback the site provides in response to that action.

INP is replacing the First Input Delay CWV metric as of March 12, 2024.

As mentioned in this Search Engine Journal article from last month, we’ve seen it coming, so we already took the initiative of making sure your Duda sites will produce good scores for the INP metric, too. Today, over 75% of sites built on Duda already show a score within the “good” range for INP.

How we did it

As described by Duda’s VP of Engineering Ronny Shapiro, “what we did was profile the platform to look for those long tasks and synchronous operations, and then improved them by splitting each to several tasks and deferring low priority ones, among other things. This resulted in an overall low INP score, which is what we were aiming for.”

What’s a good INP score and how to test it?

Lower INP scores mean fast response times, so you should aim for low numbers— under 200 milliseconds. To track and optimize the sites your agency has built on Duda, you can use third-party tools like WooRank, available in the Duda App Store. You can also set up custom Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager events to send these metrics into GA4.

With such solid success in site performance, you can get busy building sites for clients, knowing they’ll stay ahead of the CWV game.
