We’re rolling out an upgraded version of Duda Bookings, with improvements designed to make booking and managing appointments easier for both businesses and their customers.

The update includes upgraded infrastructure and an improved Bookings experience, the ability for customers to book appointments directly from Google Search and Google Maps, and a simpler way for business owners and staff to manage appointments.

Get booked straight from Google Search and Maps

For many local businesses, Google is where customers find them first. Now, it can also be where they start booking.

Sites using Duda Bookings can add a booking link to their Google Business Profile directly from Duda. When customers find the business on Google Search or Google Maps, they can use that link to go straight to booking.

How to set it up:

  1. Enable Duda Bookings on the site
  2. Connect the site to Google Business Profile
  3. From the Google Business Profile menu, choose the site page or specific URL you want to use as the booking link

For agencies, this gives clients another way to turn people who discover their business on Google into booked appointments.

A simpler way to manage bookings

We’ve also updated the Bookings dashboard with a cleaner look and a more focused experience for the people using it every day.

Booking management is now organized around two main areas:

  • My Bookings brings booked appointments together in one place, with the key actions needed to manage them.
  • Appointments & Staff gives admins one place to manage appointment types and team members.

This makes it easier for business owners to keep track of their own schedule while also managing the services and people behind the business.

Give staff a view focused on their own schedule

Not every team member needs access to the full booking setup. Staff members with the Bookings user permission will see just the My Bookings view, where they can see and manage the bookings relevant to them.

Admins can continue to manage the wider booking setup, including appointments and staff, while individual team members can focus on their own schedules.

Built on an improved foundation

Along with the visible UX and design updates, we’ve made infrastructure improvements to Duda Bookings to provide a better foundation for the product going forward.

The important part for existing users is that your current Bookings settings and configurations stay the same. You won’t need to recreate appointment types, staff, or other existing setup - just to reconnect your calendar or meeting apps.

More ways to book, less to manage

For agencies like yours, these updates mean you can give service-based clients a booking solution that’s easier for their customers to reach and simpler for their teams to use, without having to rebuild their existing setup.

Your existing Bookings settings and configurations stay the same, so there’s no need to set everything up again. If you haven’t connected your calendar yet, you can do so to help manage your booked appointments directly from your personal calendar.

To get started, simply got to the Bookings section in your project dashboard. If you're new to Duda Bookings, we invite you to learn more here.
