We’re rolling out a beta of a powerful new feature: create a complete site with content and design from a simple file upload.

Whether it's a content document, a brief, client notes, or even a client interview transcript, our AI can read the file, understand its contents, and build a site that matches your needs, all without changing how you already work.

This feature is built to save you time and effort. From the moment you upload a file, we guide you through simple steps where you choose things like fonts, colors, and more, and we’ll generate a full site you can tweak as needed. You stay in control every step of the way. It’s a faster path from your first chat with a client to a live site.

Use file content as-is or as a base for new generated content

When you upload a file, there are two main ways to use it to generate your site:

#1 - File with finalized site text

If your file already has the exact text you want, choose Use it word for word in the site during upload. The AI will place your text in the right spots across your generated site pages. Want to try different layouts? Go for it. Your text will stay the same no matter how many times you change the layout.

See your text next to your generated pages

Once the site is generated, you’ll see your extracted text on the left and the matching page on the right. It’s a quick way to check placement and accuracy without bouncing between apps or tabs.

#2 - File with business, client or project info

If your file is more like a brief, client notes, or a meeting transcript, choose Use as a prompt for new content when uploading it. The AI will create site copy and images based on the context in the file.

Bonus SEO tip

If your uploaded file includes SEO tags (meta titles and descriptions) for each page, whether you use the text as-is or as a prompt, the AI will automatically set them as your site’s meta tags.

No matter how you build your site, your texts are always there

If you start from a file upload, generate your site and then move to the editor, your uploaded texts will still show in the content panel on the left, right alongside the canvas.

Prefer to build a site from a template? You can still upload a file and use the extracted text throughout your site, just as
we announced last month. Just drag and drop the content directly onto the canvas. That means saying goodbye to switching between docs, tabs, or tools.

You can also generate a page directly from your text using the
Generate a Page with this Text button. Our AI tool will handle it for you.

As you can see, this file upload capability complements your process, regardless of your site creation and building workflow, to make it more efficient.

We’re curious to see what kind of sites you’ll build for clients using this new game-changing feature, and how much this will speed up your process overall. Enjoy :)
