We’re rolling out a new beta feature in Editor 2.0 that makes working with site text way faster. Just upload a text file, and you’ll see its contents in a panel right next to your canvas. From there, you can drag and drop content straight onto the page. No more switching between tabs, copying and pasting, or jumping between documents.

Powered by AI, built for speed

When you upload a text file (Word, Markdown, you name it), our AI analyzes it, pulls out the content, breaks it down by page and displays it in the panel. Then you can drag and drop the texts from the panel into the canvas.

It even fills in missing info in your AI Business Profile based on the content.

Use it your way

Here are a couple of ways to use it:

Update texts of a designed site in minutes

Need to update the content on a designed site? Upload your prepared content file, and your texts will show up right beside your canvas. Drag it over, drop it in place, and you’re done.

Start with content, then design

If you already have the site text ready, just upload it and let us break it down into a usable structure. Use a blank template or your own, and drag text blocks into place as you design. It’s a faster way to build a site without treating design and content as two separate steps.

When dropping text, styles stay intact

When replacing text using drag and drop, the widget design stays the same. Formatting like bold, italic, and underline is preserved. Alternately, when adding text as a new widget in your site or template, the heading and paragraph styles (H1–H6, Paragraph) from your file will also carry over automatically.

In case you missed it…

Last week at DudaCon, Duda’s product manager Tal Levi previewed another exciting feature: generating an entire site from a text file upload. Stay tuned because there’s more coming beyond just uploading text files… 😉
