Here are five recent enhancements to our native store, designed to help you build high-performing eComm sites with the right amount of operative customizations and flexibility your eComm clients require. Let's dive in:

Choose how you enter tax-inclusive prices

In addition to our recent tax related updates of adding tax groups and including tax rates in product prices, we’re happy to share that we’ve made an important update to the latter. Now, when you choose to include tax in product prices, you can decide how the tax is applied to the price itself:

  • Enter a gross price that already includes the tax rate, or;
  • Enter a net price with your store’s default tax added automatically

Gross or net? When to use each

Gross pricing can be a better option for businesses selling to just one market or to one region, for example. Net pricing on the other hand can be the more suited choice for businesses serving multiple regions with various tax rates, as it lets such clients protect their margin.

Keep in mind that gross product pricing currently works for stores with just one tax zone.

New per-item order fulfillment & tracking info

Your eComm clients can now more easily manage order fulfillment and keep their customers informed about shipments.

When fulfilling an order, you can now select individual items to mark as fulfilled. This is useful when certain items take longer to process, or when items in the same order ship from different locations or warehouses. In such cases, your eComm client may need to fulfill items separately.

And the cool part? You can now also add tracking information to these specific items. Once you add the tracking info and hit the Fulfill Item(s) button, the customer will receive an email with the tracking link, making it easy to follow the delivery status and location of those items.

Easily re-send download links of purchased digital products

You can now easily resend digital product download links to customers, improving delivery and customer satisfaction.

Within the order page, you'll see a new menu option that allows you to resend an email containing the download link directly to the customer. This provides quick and easy access to their purchased digital product.

Easily export the store’s abandoned carts list to CSV

Now, with a simple click, you can export your store's complete abandoned cart list, including essential customer details, to a CSV file. This readily available data empowers your client's business for various marketing, promotional, and other strategic initiatives.

Keep inventories up to date when cancelling orders

You and your eComm clients have the option to automatically restock items when canceling an order to ensure the business’s inventory is always up to date. How does it work? When canceling an order, you’ll now have a
Restock inventory when order is canceled checkbox you can check to enable this.

Keep in mind that this won’t apply to products that:

  • Have the shipping required toggle switched off in the catalog
  • Their inventory tracking setting is turned off
  • No longer exist

New pagination option to help customers browse products

We’ve enhanced store customers’ browsing experience by introducing a classic pagination option to the Product Gallery and data-connected Photo Gallery store widgets. So what’s new? You or your eComm client can now choose between the View More Button and the Pagination option, to enjoy more control over how more products are displayed.

Lots of more updates to discover

If you haven’t heard, we recently released a brand new way to offer product customizations, to enhance your store sales and offer customers an exciting way to personalize their purchases. We’ve also added Mollie as an optional payment gateway which is perfect for businesses selling or operating within the EU.
