How it works (or here comes the magic!)

Duda’s AI looks at your existing Duda or custom template to understand its pages and widgets, then generates content to fit the layout. The structure stays the same, so no pages are added or removed. Page names may change slightly to better reflect the business.

What gets populated

We support the most common widgets like Text, Image, Icons, Galleries, Sliders, Accordions and more. If your template includes unsupported widgets, we'll skip them without breaking your site. Custom widgets generally stay untouched internally, though we may generate surrounding text.

Provide content instructions

Use the optional content instructions field in the populate content flow to guide the tone, highlight unique selling points, control imagery, and define any limitations or restrictions. This ensures the output aligns with the brand and industry standards.

Here's an example:

Images should be scenic only, with no people visible (no faces, bodies, hands, reflections, or silhouettes). Set the scene in Bora Bora with a luxurious tropical vibe: overwater bungalows, turquoise lagoon, white-sand beaches, palm trees, coral reefs, and dramatic sunset/golden-hour lighting. Keep the imagery bright, clean, and aspirational, like a high-end travel brochure.

We recommend using supported widgets and to structure your templates with Site Theme settings so colors and styles update predictably. 

Also, consider connecting logos and business information through Connected Data to keep everything consistent. The AI won’t modify Dynamic Pages or Connected Data. It won’t generate store products or blog posts during the initial site creation, but you can add them later through Copilot or Duda’s APIs.
